A photographic exhibition, about the social and economic development achieved by Angola during the last 39 years, will be one of the main events to celebrate Angola’s Independence Day in Houston, USA, on November 11th.
The festivities program – an initiative of the Republic of Angola Consulate General in Houston (in partnership with oil company Chevron) – has already started this week and will also include network gatherings with the Angolan community, workshops with students and a Futsal competition.
On a different but related note, the Houston Consulate’s web page includes a very useful link with all contacts associated to Angola’s more than 60 Consulates and Embassies around the world. You may find and bookmark it here. As the editors of the Consulate’s webpage rightly point out: “Both our country-fellows and foreign nationals alike may require the Angolan consular services for whatever reason”.
